This is a guide through the 2012 NFL draft. It contains over 700 player profiles, a 7-round mock draft, team needs, and a draft value chart. This guide has no photos or player articles and 95% of this book deals with the players available for the 2012 NFL draft.

While the content inside is very detailed (sometimes too detailed), the formatting for the Kindle edition is frustrating at best. There doesn't appear to be any table of contents or shortcuts, so trying to find a player's profile can take quite a while, in fact I spent a couple of hours just bookmarking pages to make it easier to browse through, time I wish I could've spent actually reading the profiles. Next year I will purchase again if the format is improved, as it's a good reference for a draftnik like myself, if it isn't, I will skip and hope another company cleans things up enough for me to part with my money.

The 2012 Pro Football Draft Guide eBook Thomas Cooper Reviews

For all those NFL Football junkies, this is for you. This is by FAR the most thorough Draft Publication available. While most other alleged draft experts tend to lemming their analysis so as not to hurt one another's feelings, this publication is stand alone. To all of those Ernie Adams types out there, pro scouts and personnel, you must read this! With no stone left un-turned, the reader has at his disposal, the most pre-draft information one could ever desire. I guarantee you will look back after the draft and find that the information provided proves to be more accurate than anything out there. GM's ought to buy copies for all of their personnel to use as a reference. Top notch, no frills, great reading.
This is a great reference book for the NFL draft. I think this is the 2nd year this author has put one out. I used to buy a couple Draft magazines every year, but they normally had all the same comments you can hear on ESPN (plus a bunch of ads). This guide is over 750 pages, and all but 20 pages are player reviews (absolutely no ads). The analysis is very detailed and un-biased. With the .pdf format, I can watch the draft and search the guide instantly for players that my team takes. Even after the draft when the undrafted players are signed, I will have a reference to read about them. I will not have to buy any magazines this year. I have to warn you that there are no pictures or frills here - just analysis. Great product at an awesome price!
If you love the NFL Draft and college player evaluation... then The 2012 Pro Football Draft Guide if for you. Filled with every possible measurable from a player standpoint, Thomas Cooper (TMC) forms his own opinion regarding each player. He is willing to break from Draft guru orthodoxy when his own evaluation differs from the concensus. This Guide is not simply an amalgam of material gathered from websites or pulled from the thoughts of know-nothing Draft-niks. TMC views the film and breaks down each player while forming his own "Big Board" and Positional Rankings. Again, if you love the NFL Draft... and who doesn't LOVE the NFL Draft... you MUST have The 2012 Pro Football Draft Guide.
Over the past 20 years of my life, I've been a die-hard NFL Draft fanatic. It's a hobby of mine that I look forward to all season long. It helps me with knowing the who's who from high school to college to the pro game. Thomas Cooper did an EXCELLENT job in his prospect evaluations, and I must say this is the best Draft Guide I've ever purchased easily! Each player is analyzed down to every single aspect of the players game, and this book seems completely accurate. A must buy every single season, and thank you for your hard work!!!!
There needs to be an index for each section and player as it is very time consuming to look up info on specific players. Otherwise a great resource for the draft candidates.
